The school year has started and so I have gotten my first taste of actual college. I like it quite a bit even if it is a challenge. Finally I can actually work my mind and be bored instead of being the regular amount of bored.
Honorable Without Honors
I was disscusing this topic with my cousin the other day while we were taking photos but being an academic weapon is hard. Much like me she is also striving to be an academic weapon. One thing we have noticed is that with many of the honors classes in our respective schools is that they are not harder, they just have more work and have a quicker pace. I've never understood why that is the case. Another example of something I have seen is that many instructors expect the students to automatically know what they are doing because "they are advanced students and should know better," which of course is not the case. To that my response is ahem! How can you expect students to succed if you don't guide them or give them the tools necessary to do so!!!!
It is something that does frustrate me quite a bit. >:(
